The Battle of the Belly
With the food industry determined to get us addicted to the taste of sugar rich foods, we are currently fighting an almost impossible battle. But the future health of our children is worth the effort to look to retrain your child's taste buds and ultimately their desire for nourishing food that fuels their cells, their organs and ultimately their health and protection against future disease. We call it The Battle of the Belly, and its a fight we can't lose.
The Battle of the Belly is part of our journey empowering people to stop cancer in its tracks. At the time of writing it is forecast , 1 in 2 people in the Developed World will get cancer in their lifetime, this has to be made untrue! Some more encouraging news is the survival rate has for the first time overtaken the death rate through new treatments becoming available. Our heartfelt thanks goes to the Royal Marsden without whom Geoff would no longer be with us, but these treatments are gruelling and it is our belief more focus needs to be made to prevent it occurring in the first place through education into changing the way we are all eating and treating our bodies. Billions is spent trying to find a cure when so much can be done through nutrition.
In 2015 Geoff, my husband was told he had three months to live as cancer had taken over his body. This news transformed our lives and we started a journey of recovery and witnessing God’s miracles in action. The Battle of the Belly is a start to your journey to continued wellness. It's not a diet as you can have treats, but changing your nutrition, knowing you are helping to keep those you love safer against one of the biggest challenges our generation is facing.
During all our research changing to these better habits will not only reduce your risk of cancer but also many of the other difficult conditions that are becoming more common in society today. Type Two Diabetes, Crohns, Ibs, Lupus, Hypothyroidism, Chronic Fatigue, Arthritis, Asthma and any other auto immune condition.
There is also research to show that eating in this way can help reduce the symptoms of autism, anxiety and depression.
Lastly and critical for now, boosting your immune system will help protect you against Covid 19.
We pray you find this an enjoyable experience to share with your children.
Live Well and be Blessed not stressed.
